Team Member
A pool team member is a jack of all trades and ready to learn more. This is the starting point for most of our team. You will be asked to perform basic tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, setting up job sites, carrying materials, perform basic carpentry such as forming, raking and spreading materials, cleaning up the site at the end of the day and of course – INSTALLING FIBERGLASS POOLS!
Team Leader
A team leader leads multiple team members in specific crew tasks such as form carpentry, cover installation, concrete detailing, concrete sealing, grade / site work, concrete finishing, fencing installation, and some pool installations. A team leader must have a broad understanding of each phase and the ability to lead and make decisions based on site conditions and job obstacles.
Concrete Finisher
Everyone on our team does a little of everything and our finishers are no different. You must be able to complete and lead others in all aspects of concrete construction. Form carpentry, gravel prep, rebar installation, stair forming, placing, floating, finishing, and color stamping. You must also be able to adapt and learn processes that we have established and have proven to be very effective for years. If you have your own way, and it's the only way – we may not be a good fit.
Project Manager
Our project managers are responsible for executing the pool installation from start to finish. You must be able to read and accurately interpret the drawings and elevation plans for the fiberglass pool installation. Effective site leadership, complex problem solving, with the ability to manage up to four site team members, dump trucks, and deliveries is a must. This is a high paced environment where confidence and sound decision-making is rewarded.
Excavator Operator
Digging a hole for a pool is an art and backfilling one is a science. As an operator you will need to have at least five years experience in a track hoe. We use large equipment (160's) in small backyards. The hoe serves many uses on the job-site and accuracy is critical. Excavation, loading trucks, spreading materials, and final grading is all done with the hoe. You must be able to keep track of what's around you at all times while in tight work areas and be a part of the team even from the cab. Due to weather we are not always working in the winter but this is otherwise a full time position.
Electrician
Our electricians are a part of our systems division and make sure that new pools are wired up and ready for startup. You will need to be licensed and capable of installing new services, electric sub panels, pool lighting, automatic pool cover connections, and reworking existing home panels that we find need attention. Some commercial electric experience is helpful as running a lot of conduit is a large part of what we do. Straight CLEAN pipe work is required when we wire an in ground pool.
Mechanic / Shop Associate
Though it is not our desire to work on all of our own equipment and fleet, there is still a need for regular task such as oil changes, lube, daily fixes from yesterday, and basic preventive maintenance. If you know your way around basic auto maintenance / repair as well as small engines you're probably what we are looking for. A CDL is a huge help and compensated but not required.
Class A CDL Driver
One of our secrets to success is owning equipment such as excavators, wheel loader, skid steers, etc. We deliver all of our own fiberglass pools to our jobsites and even supply other dealers in the Midwest and Great Lakes region with fiberglass pools. As one of our commercial drivers you will be tasked with safely delivering and offloading our equipment and fiberglass pools. Occasionally you will also run our dump truck to deliver gravel to jobsites or perhaps haul dirt away for a pool installation. Working well with the production team, the shop team, and being schedule flexible is a must. This is an hourly position with regular PAID overtime unlike many other CDL positions.
Pool Systems Tech
Must possess an understanding of pool filtration, water chemistry, pool cleaning, equipment repairs, and install new equipment systems. Pool Techs will work with installation teams on new projects as well as maintain, open, and close completed pools.
Administrative Associate
Must be detailed oriented, a self-starter, be comfortable professionally communicating via email, phones, understand light accounting, and Microsoft office suite. Natural organization skills and multitasking is a must. Like any small business environment being flexible and adaptive to changing needs and priorities is a part of life. Past experience in a construction related field is a plus but not necessary.
Outdoor Space Designer / Estimator / Sales
Selling an in ground pool and living space is the most fun home sale there is. Families want swimming pools, and we are changing families' lives and helping them make memories. Our designers must have at least five years experience in home improvement sales and estimating, be detailed oriented, possess excellent phone and email skills, and be able to multi task. No 'smile and dial' calling. Often we have more leads than we can get to and skilled qualification is required. Strong organization skills is also a must. Leads, presentation, estimating software, lead software, sales automation, and a vehicle are all provided. Your job is to present, design, quote, take care of the customer, and close.
